Dimas, a multi-talented individual and member of the MEAA, has a deep-seated passion for both surfing and photography. Hailing from a family of artists, he draws inspiration from his grandfather's work and has been following in his footsteps ever since. As a seasoned surfer with over 30 years of experience, Dimas has become a respected surfing judge for the International Surfing Association and Surfing Australia. His trained eye allows him to anticipate the movements of surfers, while also capturing the perfect shot.
Aside from his expertise in surfing, Dimas is also a photography student who is always eager to take on new challenges. He has developed a unique perspective on water photography, which enables him to capture the beauty and thrill of the sport from the "Belly of the Beast." This unconventional perspective sets his photography apart and allows him to produce breathtaking images that truly embody the essence of surfing.
